To my fellow friends and neighbors:
As I enter my last year as President of the Penn
Lake Association (PLA), I want to thank everyone
for their support of all Penn Lake events over the
last several years. There have been many wonderful
events, such as the 2013 Penn Lake’s 75th
Anniversary celebration, our yearly get together
for Night at the Races, Swimming Lessons and
Fishing Derby’s for our children, our Spring Clean
Ups and finally, restoration of the “Gazebo”. We
take pride in our Community and its people and
would like to continue to welcome new members to
our group. Also, Volunteers are welcome to
participate in any of the Association events.
The Officers and Directors of the PLA have planned
upgrades and events for 2016, including new sand
at “the Beach”, continued events such as the
Fishing Derby, Swim Lessons and BINGO’S. In
addition, the annual Halloween Party for our
children is already scheduled. I encourage you to
take a look at the enclosed Calendar of Events,
mark your favorite events and plan ahead to
attend. I want to thank past and present Officers
and Directors of the PLA for their contributions
of time, talent and treasure. As always, we
welcome your suggestions for activities and events
and you are invited to attend the Penn Lake
Association meetings.
